For NycterisA's clay challenge for the month of August. [link]

This little guy is a sea dragon. It's not so much that he can swim and lives in the ocean as he loves hanging out on the beach and hordes sea shells. I'm not sure he can really do much swimming without bright orange arm floaties on (and yes they have to be orange).

Made of Premo! Sculpey clay in translucent, Sea Green, Ultramarine Blue, and Glow-in-the-Dark (for wings, and twist running down head, back, and tail). A blend of Pearl Ex and Perfect Pearl colors were used to give him his sparkle finish. So far he has only had 1 coat of glaze (gloss).

His belly is a clear marble, and his eyes are Peridot Swarovski Crystal Components. He is holding a real sea shell.

His wings and the twist that starts at his head and runs down to the end of his tail is a custom glow-in-the-dark clay blend made with Premo! Sculpey.

He's 3.75 cm tall, 4.2cm long, and 3cm wide (including wing span).
